Several years ago, the team at Revolution Radio Online got together for a planning session. From it, we decided on our original core mission, the kind of shows we wanted to do, the strategy for how we deliver our music and entertainment and so on.

At the end of the session however, we sat down and moved into what we called the 'Blue Sky Thinking' section of the agenda. The simple question we asked was this:

'If there were no limits to our budget, what other projects or platforms would we like to add to the station?'

We came up with several big ideas, including a bricks and mortar studio that local DJs could go to for their shows, but also in which we could train others to become DJs as well.

We also said it would be cool to have our own record label, bringing new music to our listeners attention.

Now, over a decade later, we are taking our first steps in this direction, with the launch of Rock Rebel Outlaw Records.

Initially, the label will bring forth projects from our own minds, creativity and connections, but over time, we would like to add projects from other musicians and artists. For the time being however, we have an ambitious release schedule of projects for the next year.

We're new to this. Our projects may be changed as we push the limits of what can be done via our partners and platforms. But we'll keep you updated along the way.
