Sari Schorr
Sari Schorr is a tour de force of a blues-rock artist, with a voice that totally RAAAWWWWKKKS!
Sari Schorr was introduced to the wider Crossfire Radio fraternity via the DBRS but her no nonsense approach blues rock has quickly won her fans across the wider listener base.

“Likened to Janis Joplin and Tina Turner, her big voice cruises through the blues number with authentic authority. ” — Gareth Evans (R2 Magazine)
“When Sari Schorr named her debut album, she practically wrote her own press: recorded or live, Sari truly is A Force Of Nature, an unstoppable tsunami that has stormed across the blues/rock world, leaving a trail of shell-shocked cities in her wake.“ – Blues in Britain
In 2016, Sari first burst onto the Blues-Rock scene with her critically acclaimed debut album, A Force of Nature, produced by iconic British Blues pioneer Mike Vernon (David Bowie, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green).

Schorr’s “overnight” success comes after years trudging the rugged road of life of the hard-working singer/songwriter, performer. From working the music scene in the legendary fierce South Bronx of New York and on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, to live performances at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall and major TV appearances. Sari Schorr has a voice like no other; hyper powerful, husky and muscular, with an incredible texture and range. Bottle the power of Grace Slick with the whisky doused warmth of Janis Joplin and the vintage vocal result is Sari Schorr who pours out her heart and soul. She delivers a sentence as a boxer would throw an uppercut to his opponent.

Now, Sari is breaking new ground with her sophomore album, Never Say Never. Sari insisted that the album be recorded live to capture the raw energy of her music. She has ventured deeper into her personal life. In the process, Sari has revealed herself with a vulnerability and honesty that she admits was as painful as it was healing. Her songs are highly crafted with vibrant lyrics that highlight just how good Sari is at invoking passion, grit, and empathy.
The new album was recorded in The Grange Studios in Norfolk and features Ash Wilson on guitar, Bob Fridzema (ex-King King) on Hammond and keyboards, Mat Beable on bass and Roy Martin on drums.

In the meantime, The New Revolution is now the opening theme tune for Dee's new show, and Turn On the Radio is a regular TWS starter :)
