ONE DARKNESS. TWO VOLUMES. THIRTEEN LEGENDS.

Well, we have a little confession to make...

In all the excitement of creating Legends of the Dark, and with rather too much work, too little sleep and FAR too much rock-and-roll fun, The Baron overlooked one rather important detail.

Our original double-album format isn't supported by our chosen physical album manufacturer!

Oops. 🤦‍♂️😂

Rather than compromise the music, rush the artwork or deliver something less than the album deserves, we've decided to take a little extra time and do things properly.

So, EON's Legends of the Dark will now be released on Monday 9 November 2026, in the following formats:

🎸 VINYL — TWO VOLUMES

Legends of the Dark — Volume I and Volume II will be released as two separate vinyl albums, together presenting all thirteen legendary creatures and their stories.

💿 CD — TWO VOLUMES

The CD editions will also be released as two companion volumes, with the Legends Overture opening Volume I and the Epilogue closing Volume II.

🌑 DIGITAL — ONE COMPLETE ALBUM

The digital release remains exactly as originally conceived: one complete 15-track concept album, featuring all thirteen legends, the Overture and the Epilogue.

AND THERE'S A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA...

To make the physical editions truly special, we're creating two different illustrated collector's booklets, one for each volume.

Each will feature:

• Full-page artwork celebrating the individual songs and the legendary characters behind them.

• Background notes exploring the stories, mythology and inspiration behind the music.

• The story of how Legends of the Dark came into being.

• A unique, full-length, double-page centrefold featuring EON's own Gothic Goddess and Eternal Watcher, Lady Black Uriah.

That's right. Two volumes. Two different booklets. Two exclusive Lady Black centrefolds. 🖤

And for vinyl listeners, we're also planning complimentary access to the Overture and Epilogue, so you can experience the complete musical journey.

We'd rather take the extra few days to get every detail right than rush something we've poured so much imagination, passion and music into.
