This Wednesday is the 50th Anniversary of the first broadcast of the very first Episode of The Prisoner by Patrick McGoohan and given we're talking about Number 6, the show will be a 6 hour special beginning at Midday.

Here's the running order:

12pm: Start and music. 12.30pm: Behind The Scenes with The Prisoner. A special documentary discussing with stars of the show key sequences and meanings. 2pm: Music 3.30pm: The Prisoner Explained. Patrick McGoohan gives a rare interview into what the programme was all about. 415pm: Music 5pm: 1984- a radio dramatisation of the ultimate story about individuality and control, STARRING David Niven as Winston Smith. 6pm Close.
