The greatest rock DJ of them all, and my main inspiration, Tommy Vance was sadly taken from us far too early, but for many of us of a certain age, Friday night was Radio 1 night, as his bassy tones would bring us music that was a must hear, new bands and albums that we went on to support and purchase. This second show will have songs and bands I heard for the first time thanks to TV on the Radio, but also,surprises and a special guest, Tommy himself :)

The show is in three parts - hosted by me with a bit or two from TV himself- will be songs I heard for the first time on The Friday Rock Show. The second, I hand over to Tommy himself, to interview Bruce Dickinson and play songs from a classic Iron Maiden album.... and then the third part will be a Live at the FRS special with live tracks from bands featured in the FRS external broadcasts.
