On the show this week:
Album on the WEEK: Counting down to BRS500, Album of the Week returns counting down to my Number 1 All Time Favourite Album. So this week it will be Number 27 in my all-time favourite albums chart, but which album is it? I'll give you a clue: It's a breakthrough album with the biggest single success for a rock trio that Rockin' Robin can't stand. Now, if that doesn't give the band away, nothing will! But what album is it??
Rock Blitz: 5 songs back to back, no interruptions, all singalonga: This week it's HELL YEAHS & SIX GUN SHOOTERS II, but WHO are they and what songs will they be performing?
Live at the BRS: 3 live songs from to finish the show. This week we will have Iron Maiden, Blue Oyster Cult & Queensryche.
All that, plus we have a selection of my favourite songs, from: Deep Purple, Sweet, Judas Priest, Status Quo, Def Leppard, SHY, Bon Jovi, Jennah, The Who, Black Sabbath, Rebecca Downes, Iron Maiden, Within Temptation , Rainbow, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Wayne Hussey, Uriah Heep, Styx, and any more I might squeeze in.
Can't be bad value for a show that!
See you on Wednesday 20th April 2022 at 7pm on REVOLUTIONONE.

Devil's Canyon
Molly Hatchet
A fire is burning low the moon is on the rise Stuck in a devil's canyon surrounded by all sides Got nowhere left to run time is drawing near
Well load up your guns its time to fight It just don't matter who's wrong or right Load up your guns get a man in your sights This canyon's gonna feel the fire tonight
We've been together since the day we were born And watched our daddy die - shot and killed End of story too many pages torn
Ya ain't gonna run ya ain't gonna go down alone Many a man good, bad never see the dawn
Pappy wouldn't sell our home to make way for the tracks Somebody from a big old railroad had my daddy shot in the back
Well load up your guns its time to fight It just don't matter who's wrong or right Load up your guns get a man in your sights This canyon's gonna burn
Well load up your guns its time to fight It just don't matter who's wrong or right Load up your guns get a man in your sights This canyon's gonna burn
This canyon's gonna feel the fire This canyon's gonna burn This canyon's gonna burn like hell
Nantucket Sleighride Song by Mountain
Goodbye, little Robin-Marie Don't try following me Don't cry, little Robin-Marie 'Cause you know I'm coming home soon
My ships' leaving on a three-year tour The next tide will take us from shore Windlaced, gather in sail and spray On a search for the mighty sperm whale
Fly your willow branches Wrap your body round my soul Lay down your reeds and drums on my soft sheets There are years behind us reaching To the place where hearts are beating And I know you're the last true love I'll ever meet
Starbuck's sharpening his harpoon The black man's playing his tune An old salt's sleeping his watch away He'll be drunk again before noon
Three years sailing on bended knee We found no whales in the sea Don't cry, little Robin-Marie 'Cause we'll be in sight of land soon
Take It Outside Song by Brantley Gilbert
Back in the good old days Knew how to brawl I'm talking real gunslingers I'm talking real outlaws
They'd saddle up and ride on into town When it was high noon in them old saloons You knew what was going down
They took it outside, took it outside It was man to man, it's toe to toe You know they had to go
Well, nobody's gonna break it up Not until you've had enough And if you think you've got the guts Then let's take it outside
Well, if you think your man enough You really wanna knuckle up If you wanna shed a little blood Then let's take it outside, let's take it outside
These days things have changed There's a lot of talk, lot of pushing and shoving Well, if you wanna walk the walk
Well, let's have some respect They got girls in here, just pay your tab Lay down your beer And let's take it outside, let's take it outside
It's man to man, it's toe to toe You know we need to go
Well, nobody's gonna break it up Not until we've had enough And if you think you've got the guts Then let's take it outside
Well, if you think your man enough You really wanna knuckle up If you wanna shed a little blood Then let's take it outside, let's take it outside, yeah
We're all here for a good time Don't start no trouble 'Cause it won't be the first time I put a scar on my knuckles
Now brother, I don't mind And I'll be glad to stomp your ass But if both of us walk out that door One of us ain't coming back
Nobody's gonna break it up Not until we've had enough And if you think you've got the guts Then let's take it outside
Well, if you think your man enough You really wanna knuckle up If you wanna shed a little blood Then let's take it outside, let's take it outside, yeah
Sweet Home Alabama Song by Lynyrd Skynyrd
One, two, three Turn it up
Big wheels keep on turnin' Carry me home to see my kin Singin' songs about the south-land I miss Alabamy once again and I think it's a sin, yes
Well I heard Mister Young sing about her Well I heard ol' Neil put her down Well I hope Neil Young will remember A southern man don't need him around anyhow
Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet home Alabama Lord I'm comin' home to you
In Birmingham they love the governor (boo-hoo-hoo) Now we all did what we could do Now Watergate does not bother me Does your conscience bother you? Tell the truth
Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet home Alabama (oh yeah) Lord I'm comin' home to you Here I come, Alabama
Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers And they've been known to pick a song or two (yes they do) Lord they get me off so much They pick me up when I'm feelin' blue Now how about you?
Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet home Alabama Lord I'm comin' home to you
Sweet home Alabama (oh, sweet home) Where the skies are so blue And the governor's true Sweet home Alabama (lordy) Lord I'm comin' home to you, yeah, yeah Montgomery's got the answer
It's those yellow dogs of dingo. 👍
