Ever wondered what Dave and Ann would make of that excellent sitcom – The Good Life? Well, wait no longer ‘cus this week the play ‘Wot Dave Wrote’ is The Good Life Again. So, expect plenty of suitably themed songs throughout the show (as per usual).
This week Pen’s Featured Album is Real Life by Simple Minds. Ann’s has combined her Man of the Week (Bryan Ferry) with her Formative Years (surprise) and come up with The Gang Have Got it Covered. There will be a Tom, A Barbara, A Jerry and a Margo(t) in What’s Your Style with Classic Rock, R & B, Country and Rock and Roll - all within the theme of the week, of course. There are 3 excellent tracks for Pen’s Rock Picks and, there are 3 in her Chill Out Zone. There will be all the other usual features and, as ever, our normal eclectic mix of music. There will be tracks from Phil Collins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Yardbirds, Paul Simon, Marillion, Rory Gallagher, Skillet, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, James Brown and many more.
The show will finish with a bit of classical therapy with the Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus by Vaughan Williams as performed by The Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Brilliant show once again Doc and the gang take a bow everybody.

HA HA I think the Doc needs a Guiness. The monthly prize draw IS random, but your name can get put into the draw more than once.
So for example, if Joe posts every week in just the Drive chatroom (cos that's the only show he listens to) then Joe would get entered into the monthly draw 4 times (that is, posting in one chat room each week for 4 weeks). Jane on the other hand posts in Drive, the BRS and the Coffee Shop every week, so she would be entered into the draw 12 times that month (that is 3 chatrooms x 4 weeks). 📷
The music clue to Ann's Braincells Challenge.

Dame Pen's Chill Out Zone.
Did you know that Jim Steinman was supposed to be the original producer on Pyromania (or possibly Hysteria, I forget which), but the Leps sacked him cos he wasn't taking the job seriously? I think it was Pyro cos the Leps knew they had to make a HUGE album that broke the USA to keep their record deal.
Pen's first two rock picks :
