We all have bands and artists we kept saying must go see them, and then suddenly they're gone, disbanded, no longer touring. Or, someone from yesteryear long since retired or shuffled from their mortal coil. Which one would you really wish you could have seen?
It has to be Eric Clapton. A visit to The Crossroads Festival has always been on my bucket list, but outside of my budget level.
I can't really pick one, Thin Lizzy and Pink Floyd are definitely on my list of bands that I wish i could have seen.
The one band I really wish i had managed to see was Thin Lizzy. Sadly, at the time I didn't get them, so they weren't on my wishlist. It was only a decade after Phil Lynott's death that the band clicked with me. Now they are one of my favourite bands.
A band I would love to see live who are still around but only do occasional live events in their native Germany now, are ELOY.
